What matched betting software actually does
You don't need software to matched bet. Everything on this site can be done by hand with the calculators and a betting exchange. What a subscription gives you is time: it lists the sign-up offers and reloads, finds the best-matching odds, runs the lay maths, and (on the dearer plans) points at +EV opportunities such as extra places. Read what matched betting is first if that's new.
Price comparison, tier by tier
These are the prices on each service's own pricing page on 22 October 2026. I've lined the tiers up by position and price. They may not be identical products.
| Tier | OddsMonkey monthly | OddsMonkey annual | Outplayed monthly | Outplayed annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter vs Platinum | £39.99 | £249.99 | £29.99 | £249.99 |
| Advanced vs Diamond | £49.99 | £349.99 | £49.99 | £349.99 |
| Pro vs Pro | £149.99 | £999 | £150 | £995 |
| Elite vs Elite | not listed | £3,000 | £300 | £3,000 |
Two things jump out. The annual prices are almost identical (Pro is £995 against £999, Elite is £3,000 on both). And Outplayed's cheaper entry price only applies to monthly billing.

Monthly or annual? The break-even maths
Paying monthly is flexible. Paying annually is much cheaper if you stay long enough. Entry plans:
| Entry plan | 12 months paid monthly | Annual plan | You save | Annual is cheaper if you stay |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| OddsMonkey Starter | £479.88 | £249.99 | £229.89 (48%) | month 7 |
| Outplayed Platinum | £359.88 | £249.99 | £109.89 (31%) | month 9 |
If you'll use it for six months or less (eight on Outplayed), monthly works out cheaper, and Outplayed's monthly is the cheapest of the two. Beyond that the annual plan wins. The one catch with annual is that you've paid up front, so use the free trial and the money-back window before you commit.
What each says it includes
These are each service's own marketing claims, not something I've tested or counted. Check the live pricing pages before you rely on a number.
| Entry plan | OddsMonkey Starter | Outplayed Platinum |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-up offers | 50+, worth £779 | 40+, worth £800+ |
| Reloads | 60+ weekly offers | Daily sportsbook reloads |
| Money-back | 14 days | 14 days |
| 0% commission deals | Yes | Yes |
| Trial | Free trial, no payment details (help centre) | 7 day free trial |
| Next tier | OddsMonkey Advanced | Outplayed Diamond |
|---|---|---|
| Casino sign-up offers | 100+, worth over £1,000 | 140+, worth £2,300+ |
| Casino reloads | 50+ weekly casino offers | Daily casino reloads |
| Extra tools | BOG Matcher, Price Boost Matcher | BOG Catcher, Price Boost Tracker, Bet Builder Finder |
| Top tiers | OddsMonkey | Outplayed |
|---|---|---|
| Pro adds | 2UP EV, Extra Place EV, Lucky Finder EV | 2UP Master, Extra Place Master, Lucky Finder |
| Elite adds | Edge Finder, Golf Master, Steam Chaser | Edge Finder, Golf Master, Steam Chaser |
Casino offers are not matched betting in the strict sense. They have a different risk profile, so treat them separately. For a beginner doing sports sign-up offers, the entry plan is what matters, and the top two tiers are for people who already do this regularly.
The free trial and the money-back window
Outplayed: its pricing page offers a 7 day free trial of the Platinum membership (not Pro), then a 14 day money-back guarantee on top. Whether it asks for card details at sign-up isn't stated where I could check, so look at the sign-up form before you start.
OddsMonkey: its help centre describes a free trial that doesn't ask for payment details. It explains matched betting and walks you through two bookmaker offers. The help article is dated 2023 and I couldn't find a trial length, so I've written up what I can verify on the OddsMonkey free trial page. The subscription has a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment.
Same operator, merger and a legal claim
Both sites name Liquidity Trading Limited (a Gibraltar company) as the operator. According to NEXT.io (22 August 2025), the OddsMonkey and Outplayed groups merged in December 2024, and Entain filed a civil claim in the English High Court on 21 August 2025 against Liquidity Trading Limited and others, alleging passing off and trade mark infringement. I haven't found an outcome, and that's a company dispute rather than a verdict on the software. I cover it on Is OddsMonkey legit? If you're weighing up either service, read the newest Trustpilot reviews yourself rather than relying on a score I quote.
So which should you pick?
- You want to start for free and only pay if it works for you: take either trial. OddsMonkey's doesn't ask for payment details according to its help centre. Outplayed's lasts 7 days.
- You'll pay monthly and watch the pennies: Outplayed Platinum is £10.00 a month cheaper.
- You're happy to commit for a year: the entry price is the same (£249.99), so choose on the trial, the tool set and the sign-up experience.
- You want to wait until you've done a few offers: the free calculators on this site do the lay maths either way.
I started on OddsMonkey in 2017 and I'm an OddsMonkey affiliate, so weigh my recommendation with that in mind. The only affiliate link on this site is OddsMonkey's, so the OddsMonkey links on this page are marked as ads and Outplayed has none.
Lewis's take
I started with OddsMonkey in 2017. Later, nearly every bookie gubbed me (and, weirdly, my family too), which is what pushed me towards shops and tools like Bookie Bashing. The comparison on this page comes from both services' own public pages, not from a hands-on review of each.
FAQs
Are OddsMonkey and Outplayed the same company?
Both websites name Liquidity Trading Limited as the operator, and the OddsMonkey and Outplayed groups were reported to have merged in December 2024 (NEXT.io, 22 August 2025). They are still sold as two separate services with different names, prices and trial terms.
Which is cheaper, OddsMonkey or Outplayed?
Outplayed's entry plan is cheaper by the month: Platinum at £29.99 against OddsMonkey Starter at £39.99, so £10.00 a month less. Billed annually they cost the same, £249.99, for the entry plan. Both also list £49.99 a month or £349.99 a year for the next tier up (Advanced and Diamond). Prices as listed on 22 October 2026.
Is there a free trial?
Outplayed's pricing page advertises a 7 day free trial of its Platinum membership (not Pro). OddsMonkey advertises a free trial in its help centre: no payment details needed, with a walkthrough of two sign-up offers. I couldn't find a trial length on OddsMonkey's public pages. Read the detail on my OddsMonkey free trial page.
Do both have a money-back guarantee?
Both list a 14-day money-back guarantee on their pricing pages. OddsMonkey's refund policy says to tell them within 14 days of your first purchase and the first payment is refunded. Check each service's terms on the day you sign up.
Do they use the same software?
I can't say. The public pages don't say, and some tool names differ (OddsMonkey calls tools BOG Matcher and Extra Place EV, Outplayed calls them BOG Catcher and Extra Place Master). Same operator is not proof of the same tools.
Which is better for a total beginner?
Either can be fine, because the early sign-up offers are the same sort of thing. The practical differences are price by the month, the length and terms of the trial, and which tools sit in which plan. The cheaper-looking monthly plan is not cheaper over a year, so decide how long you'll keep it before choosing monthly.
Do you earn money if I pick OddsMonkey?
Yes. I'm an OddsMonkey affiliate and I earn a commission if you subscribe through my links. The only affiliate link on this site is OddsMonkey's, which is why the OddsMonkey links on this page are marked as ads and there are none for Outplayed.
